The origins of the colloquium Dahrendorf date back to 2007. Back then Florian Schwab contacted Lord Dahrendorf  in the name of Dialog Klub, to discuss the possibility with him of organizing a symposium in his name. The result and thus the foundation of Dahrendorf Colloquium is presented below.
